Finally I arrived in Bangalore! The train station was more lively than ever! Since this is such a new and exciting city, I decided to look for a nice hotel rather than staying in a hostel. About a 40 minute tuk tuk ride away form the station, I found the Moevenpik Hotel. After getting settled in the hotel, I visited the Vidhana Soudha, The seat of the state legislature of Karnakata. It is an imposing building, constructed in a style sometimes describes as myspre Neo-Devidian, and incorporates elements of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian Styles. Better rest up for my trip to see the temples tomorrow!
